Based in Yell in the North Isles of Shetland, we are now in our third year of business as a social enterprise providing Business Support Services and Teleworking Facilities.  

Our initial small enterprise has grown from offering desk hire and office services into a professional service with a range of clients in both business and community sectors.  Our services are provided by our fully trained staff and we always aim to respond immediately and meet tight deadlines.

Karen Hannay and Jackie Smiles have both been employed as Development Officers with BDC since December 2009 and have been instrumental in building up the business and clientele we have to date.  Both Karen and Jackie live in Yell and have years of experience in working alongside and networking with most of the larger Shetland agencies as well as Shetland Islands Council.
